  • I think the best way, and the oldest, most classic way to treat any disease is with healthy diet and exercise. You can take a lot of pills, see a bunch of doctors, but at the end of the day, you have to make the decision to improve your own life, no one can do that for you. This post reminds us that fibromyalgia can be managed, but you have to have the right mindset for it. Taking anti-depressants won’t heal your pain if you don’t motivate yourself to improve other aspects of your life. There are many, many misconceptions about fibromyalgia, and it’s incredibly difficult to diagnose. Living with it can be very difficult, but you can still have a fulfilling life, as long as you know how to control your symptoms and think positively!

  • Why is the focus on collarbone pain? I’ve had FM since a teenager. Then in the ’80,s when I was in my 40s I was diagnosed. I’m now 75 and almost totally disabled. Up until 4yrs ago I was high functioning. Then my husband got cancer and was very sick. He died 2 1/2 yrs ago. Right after that my pipes burst and flooded 5 rooms, ruining everything. A few months later had hip replaced…. complications. All this stress destroyed me. I don’t wish this on my worst enemy!
