  • I can see what I need to add to my daily food intake is walnuts and flax seed. It will be hard to cut out my coffee, Although I could go with decaf version or more of a natural green tea. I prefer using all organic foods and drinks. This route has proven very benefitual to me over the past 6 years.

  • I could see it being difficult to cut out caffeine and additives such as aspartame. It’s in everything! Even something as simple as gum has aspartame in it and it’s difficult to find one without it. I can’t imagine getting up for work in the morning without my coffee. But you could always make better diet choices in other aspects if you find that you can’t be without one or two things.

  • For the last two months I’ve been on a high protein, low carb (30 grams or less per day), no sugar diet & it’s amazing me how much better I feel! My pain has decreased as have my flares. I’ve also lost a lot of excess weight that I’m sure contributed to my pain. I’m hoping it continues.
